The Pro-1 Evo Socks are constructed from a single panel of Aerostripe fabric for wind-tunnel-proven aerodynamic gains. They’re an average 5 watts faster than standard cotton socks across yaw angles between 0,3,7° and speeds of 40 – 50km/hr. Over a 25-mile TT that’s around a 12.5 second saving. Just from socks! That ‘average’ is vital because in the real world it’s rare to face parcours that doesn’t force a change in speed through topography, weather or simply fatigue. These aero gains stem from the ribbed material creating a turbulent boundary layer, helping air to stay attached for longer and forming a smaller wake. A double silicone gripper keeps them in place, no matter how high your cadence, and they’re UCI compliant, too. Nopinz Pro-1 Evo Socks are available in five sizes.
